Attempt At Respect By DMX Lands Him in Prison Lockdown


DMX, currently a ward of Arizona State at Tent City Jail, was thrown in lockdown yesterday.  Officials say that DMX threatened to “assault somebody to get some respect” when he didn’t show up for medication and guards went searching for him.

Boy George Sentence to Fifteen Months in Prison


Boy George, the ex-singer of Culture Club whose real name is George O’Dowd, was sentenced to fifteen months in prison today by Snaresbrook Crown Court in London.

Last month, Boy George was found guilty unanimously by a jury after a seven day trial in which he was accused of chaining a male escort to the wall in his London apartment. The escort, Audun Carlsen, also claims that Boy George beat him with a metal chain while imprisoned.

Boy George has maintained his innocence throughout the trial and sentencing.

Update in El DeBarge Arrest… Probation Violation Sends Him Back to Jail

El DeBarge, who was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of crack cocaine possession, is being sent to California State Prison in Lancaster to immediately begin a two year sentence.  The judge in the case decided that his conduct during the bust was enough to violate his probation from his 2007 drug case.

Lindsay Lohan’s Uncle Is Going to Jail for Fraud

Paul Sullivan, Lindsay Lohan’s uncle and brother of Dina, is going to jail for twelve months for defrauding the governement.  Sullivan had falsely filed reports that his business had suffered because of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and received a Small Business Administration loan for $600,000.

Sullivan could have received up to twenty-seven months.

John Lennon’s Killer Imagines Two More Years Of Prison

Yesterday Mark David Chapman, who murdered John Lennon on the streets of New York City outside his apartment, was denied parole for the fifth time, and must now serve two more years in Attica before his next parole hearing.

Although the parole board noted that Chapman has had a clean record in the prison since 1994, they stated that his release “would not be in the best interest of the community.”
